V Festival

V Festival is an annual rock festival held simultaneously at Chelmsford and Staffordshire, England since 1996. The event is sponsored by Virgin Mobile and regularly takes place over two days in August. British and international musicians perform at the festival. This year's festival, commonly called V2005, is tentatively scheduled for August 20 and 21 2005.

The 2005 headliners on the V Stage include Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, and Scissor Sisters. Other performing acts include:
