Vallabh Vidhyanagar

Vallabh Vidyanagar, also Vallabh Vidhyanagar, is a town in Gujarat state of western India. It is located in Anand District, between Ahmedabad and Vadodara, 6 km from the town of Anand.

Vallabh Vidyanagar was a new town created as a home for Sardar Patel University. Both the town and the university are named in honor of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, a leader of the Indian Independence movement.
