Venus of Brassempouy

The Venus of Brassempouy is one the so-called Venus figurines. It is a statuette of a nude female figure approximately 22,000 years old. The hair, nose and eyes, of the statuette, are hewn from the ivory. It was found at Grotte du Pape , near Brassempouy , Landes in France.
