Vetlanda Municipality

Vetlanda is a Municipality in Jönköping County, in southern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 1506.4 km². Of the total population of 26624, 13478 are male, and 13146 are female. The population density of the community is 18 inhabitants per km². The area code is 0383. The most famous person from Vetlanda is Lena Philipsson (Lena Ph ). Vetlanda municipality borders Eksjö Municipality with Mariannelund municipality in the north, Växjö Municipality in the south, Sävsjö Municipality with Målilla in the west and east respectively.
