Vihti

Vihti (Vichtis in Swedish) is a small town located in the Uusimaa region of province of Southern Finland, approximately 50 km north of the capital city Helsinki. The population of Vihti is 24,954 (2003) and the town covers an area of 566.88 kmē of which 44.91 kmē is water. The population density is 47.8 inhabitants per kmē.

History

The oldest literal mark of Vihti is from the 15th century.
