Vincent Ebrahim is a British actor of Indian ethnicity. Born in South Africa, he studied drama at the University of Cape Town.
After immigrating to Britain in 1976, he spent a decade with a traveling theater company, performing in plays such as Borderline by Hanif Kureishi. Since 1990, he has worked with Tara Arts, performing in such plays as Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme , Oedipus the King, Troilus and Cressida, and Antigone.
He is probably best known for playing Ashwin, the finance-obsessed father, on The Kumars at No. 42.
