Vindication Island

Vindication Island lies about two miles from Candlemas Island and the two are separated by the Nelson Channel .

Although Vindication has a volcano, there has been no signs of activity for over 10,000 years. Ths island is mostly ice free.

The island is part of the South Sandwich Islands.
