Violet Town, Victoria

Violet Town is a town in Victoria, Australia. It is in the Strathbogie Shire local government area. It was a coach stop on the Melbourne to Sydney road and became well-known in 1969 as the site of the Southern Aurora train crash. More recently Violet Town is known for being the home of the talented Jesse and Ella Hooper, members of rock band "Killing Heidi".Killing Heidi Official Website

A pretty town it is located on the Honeysuckle Creek and has many streets named after flowers. On the second Saturday of each month it hosts a vibrant community market
