Vrbas (city)

Vrbas (Врбас, Hungarian: Verbász) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at , in the South Bačka District in Vojvodina. In 2002 the city had a total population of 25,887, while the municipality had 45,839.

Its name stems from word "Willow" in Serbian language. During SFRY it was named Titov Vrbas.
