Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute is a soft money institution founded in 1930, whose mission is to extend our understanding of how the oceans in all there parts function. WHOI maintains a fleet of vessels available to the oceanographic community; as well as a large library of marine related works on a large shore based campus in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
