Yaquina Head Lighthouse

The Yaquina Head Lighthouse on the coast of Oregon is now an automated lighthouse. It is located near the mouth of the Yaquina River near Newport.

• Tallest lighthouse in Oregon. The tower is 93 feet (28.3464 meters) tall.
• Operating since 1873.
• Automated in 1966.
• Still using the original Fresnel lens.
• Characteristic: 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off, 2 seconds on, 14 seconds off, repeat.
